Shipment of Fly Presses to the USA.
Unfortunately the freight charges have meant that it's expensive to purchase a press.
Recently however we have used a new shipping operator who specialises in shipping to the USA., We now believe that we can offer an attractive deal.
We will only ship a fly press without a table to save space, as we are confident that for our customer to build a table in the USA will be an issue.
We ship on a correctly stamped wooden pallet with the balls and handle removed but secured to the pallet. The body of the press is secured to the pallet using steel bands. Finally we oil exposed arrears and cling film the whole load.
We have around 100 fly presses in stock and many of them are not shown on our website.
Some of them need some TLC so if you like a project you can request details of these presses and they will be offed at a discounted price.
If you wish to reduce the cost further then it makes sense to purchase 2 fly presses
{ Which will result in better freight rate per press,} then sell one in the States. The profit from the sold press should more than cover the freight cost.
Before we invoice you we email snaps and a video clip of the fly press. Only when you are happy with what you see do we invoice. We have a US dollar account so wire transfer is straight forward.
The presses are sold DDU. “Delivered Duty Unpaid “ this means our US agent will deal with customs, and organise for the press to be delivered right to your door, Basically you are only liable for the Duty which is around 4% of the whole transaction amount.
Approximate DDU freight charges for a number 6 fly press including customs brokerage are shown below. Please remember these are ball park figures but they do give you an indication of cost.
